DESTRUCTION BY ISOLATION: THE ENEMY'S STRATEGY

 Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit*".

Recently, I heard the story of a mentee who left her mentor and ran after an evangelist because someone recommended the evangelist to her. The man who recommeded this evangelist was under discipline by the woman's mentor. Out of rebellion, he gave her a counsel to align with another minister because their spiritual father does not like progress.

This evangelist told her she was his wife as instructed by the Lord and he warned her to keep the relationship away from her mentor, families and friends. Without paying bride price or going to the court, they began to co habit and that produced four children. He successfully isolated her from everyone who could call her to order.

After a while, the man sent her packing. She was ashamed to return to her mentor. She had several dreams where she was instructed to return to her mentor but she did not. God sent prophets to tell her to return to her spiritual father but she refused. Later, the man died.

After the man died, she stopped having those dreams where she received instruction to return to her mentor. The only thing she kept hearing through the mouth of prophets was "I the Lord, I am done with you". About three prophets told her the same thing.

Hosea 4:17 says, *"Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone*".

When Satan wants to ruin a promising destiny, aside from tempting people and making them lukewarm, he isolates the person from people he can be accountable to, people who can scrutinize his life and give godly counsel. The next thing that happens after isolation is error that will remain unchecked by spiritual men.

Satan doesn't isolate and leave his victim the same. After isolation, he plunges his victim into unimaginable errors and practices since there is no one to check it. When that is perpetuated for sometime, destruction follows. That is why preachers and doers of error are often isolated prople who breakaway from helpful relationships and oversight to form alliance with "yes men".

A single isolated by Satan will make mistakes in his/her choice of marriage, just like the woman whose story I shared. I still wonder how people make crucial decisions such as marriage without carrying anyone along. The number of wrong marriages keeps increasing because people did not submit their decisions/ choices to be scrutinized by spiritual&wise men.

Another mistake some made when they wanted to marry was to marry someone that is in isolation, no accountability figure in his/ her life. He is the alpha et omega of his life. No one to call him to order. Whatever he does/says is law. That is a dangerous person to marry.

In ministry, some preachers isolated themselves from spiritual parents who could tell them the truth and guide their ministries. They started following after men who are just interested in their prophet offerings not their souls. They associated with "big names" to boost their ministry's image but ran away from their true spiritual guide who might be unknown. This is another form of isolation.

Dearest, do not fall for the enemy's strategy. Do not allow Satan put you in a position where no one can call you to order. The moment he does that, the next thing that will follow are errors and mistakes that may affect your progress for a lifetime.
