1Cor13:4-Love is patient...IT DOES NOT BOAST
I went to a mountain to pray years back, I over heard some young ministers discussing in the counselling room and one of them said he began to perform miracles in a certain program. I thought to myself that so it is the young man that is performing the miracles and not God?
To boast is to be loud about one's achievements, this attitude stems from pride. Boasting is simply verbal pride and it is done mostly to berrate others and make them look small.
You can't be walking in love and be boastful. A proud man sees others as no good. Love doesn't boast, I respect a meek man in this generation fondly called 'daddy G.O.', I covet his humility because therein lies the secret of his greatness.
I rebuke the spirit of pride and put on the garment of humility In Jesus Name.
