THE SPIRIT REALM. Pt.1
2 Cor 12:2-3 I was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don’t know—only God knows. that I was caught up to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell.
Years back after an outreach, I was privileged to join other brethren to pull down a shrine in a remote village in Ghana. One of the items surrendered was an iron arrow and a carved snake. I was told that when these evil people want to harm their enemies, they'll shoot that iron arrow or speak to the carved snake to go harm their victims. Believe me, it works. We've heard of people who will cry from their sleep all of a sudden because of a sharp pain. They do not understand where it is coming from and how they came about it. Spiritualist and those in the occult understand these things and how it works. Spiritists, the occults and those in the dark world understand this fully. That's why they can tell you certain mysteries and secrets that the ordinary person doesn't know. Haven't you seen those who will predict accurately what will happen tomorrow yet not by the Spirit of God? The slave girl in Acts16 comes to mind.
A realm is an area of interest or activity. We are on earth living our daily lives and carrying out various activities. This space can be regarded as 'earthly realm'. For now, this is where our physical body operates. However, there is another realm that is more real and superior in organization than this earthly realm. This realm controls the earthly realm where we live and only those that understand the operations of this realm will be masters over the earthly realm. We call this realm the spirit realm. Often, we have heard the spirit realm controls the physical. That's a truism that is incontrovertible. Most of the things we see today have been concluded in the spirit realm before they manifest in the physical. The sicknesses, wars, volcano, air mishaps, road accidents and all the negatives we see have been settled in a realm where most of us aren't conscious about. If you've ever had a descriptive dream that came to pass the way you see it, you've been privileged to see into that realm.
The realm of the spirit is one not two. It is a realm that is real with structures and organization. Satan and God operate in that realm. The holy angels of God and satanic angels and demons also operate in that realm but on different sides and with different goals. We cannot fully take charge over our lives here on earth unless we understand spiritual principles and secrets that unlock the spirit realm. Apostle Paul enjoined that we live in the spirit: "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh", Gal5:16. Our walk should be a walk in the Spirit and by the Spirit. We have the advantage of the Holy Spirit to navigate the spirit realm and live in victory.
CONFESSION: I refuse to walk in the flesh. I operate from above to control my daily affairs in Jesus name. I reject the manifestation of evil works concluded over my life in the spirit realm in Jesus name.
