"But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."_ — *1 Corinthians 15:10*
*HOW TO WALK IN GRACE - DISPENSE GRACE TO OTHERS (d)*
You have received grace to become a dispenser of grace.
Grace was never meant to stop with you. Grace was meant to flow _through_ you. If you only receive grace and never release it, you have misunderstood it. You are not a reservoir. You are a river.
Paul understood this. That is why he could say, _"By the grace of God I am what I am."_ He was not boasting in himself. He was boasting in what grace had made him.
Consider who Paul was. A persecutor. A murderer of Christians. A man who breathed out threatenings and slaughter. If grace was about merit, Paul would have been disqualified forever. But grace does not look at what you were. Grace looks at what Christ has done, and what you can become.
And Paul adds a warning: _"His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain."_
Grace can be received in vain. How? When you receive forgiveness but refuse to forgive. When you receive favour but refuse to favour others. When you receive mercy but still live under condemnation. When you receive grace but still try to earn what has already been given.
Paul did not frustrate grace. He laboured. But notice his labour:
_"I laboured more abundantly than they all: YET NOT I, but the grace of God which was with me."_
This is the mystery of grace. Grace does not make you lazy. Grace makes you labour _more_. But it is not you labouring _for_ God. It is grace labouring _through_ you. Your effort is real, but the energy is not yours.
That is how you walk in grace — you work, but you rest while you work. You labour, but you know it is not your strength.
*1. Forgive as you were forgiven.*
> _"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."_ — *Ephesians 4:32*
You cannot say you have understood grace if you are still holding a ledger against someone. God tore your ledger. Tear theirs. Forgiveness is not saying what they did was right. Forgiveness is saying, "What Christ did is bigger than what you did." To withhold forgiveness is to say your pain is greater than the cross. It is not.
*2. Give as you were given.*
Grace gave you what you did not deserve. Now give to people who cannot pay you back. Give mercy to the undeserving. Give honour to the overlooked. Give time to the broken. Every time you dispense grace, you prove you have received it.
*3. Understand the shift of dispensations.*
The Dispensation of Law said: _Man, do this and live._
The Dispensation of Grace says: _Christ has done it, now you live._
Law exposed the sickness. Grace provides the cure.
Law said: "You are sick, try harder."
Grace says: "You are healed, now walk in it."
Law pointed to your failure. Grace points to His finished work.
We are the most privileged generation. We do not struggle to enter the Holy of Holies. We _live_ inside it. We do not bring sacrifices. We _ARE_ the living sacrifice because of His sacrifice. (Romans 12:1)
The veil is torn. The door is open. The King is not distant. He is in you.
> _"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."_ — *2 Corinthians 9:8*
Notice: _all grace_ for _all sufficiency_ in _all things_ for _every good work._ Grace is not just for salvation. Grace is for sufficiency. Grace is for every area — your marriage, your ministry, your business, your mind, your healing. You will never lack what you need to do what God called you to do, because grace abounds.
So today, don't just receive grace. Dispense it.
Be the grace you wish you had received in your worst moment.
May you never frustrate the grace of God over your life. Receive it, rest in it, labour in it, and let it make you reign in life through Christ Jesus. May grace make you what you could never make yourself. Amen.
