2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
THE BURDEN OF CONTINUOUS LEARNING
The youths are the leaders of tomorrow. However, when tomorrow's leaders are not committed to continuous learning, they'll become bad leaders.
A nation that has a run of bad leadership in succession is a nation where her leaders are not given to continous learning. Leadership potential is moulded and sharpen through continous learning especially beyond the four walls of a classroom.
The last time some youths read was when they had exams in school and till date, some have not read any meaningful book. Youths must apply themselves to continuous learning for their glorious future to manifest.
There is a saying that the more you learn, the more you'll discover you don't know. One of the things that makes a youth useful is the ability to apply him/herself to continuous learning through constant study.
A man said that those that can read but aren't reading are worse than those that cannot read at all.Continuous learning is a life time investment that yields long term dividends.
The knowledge you acquire will separate you from mere men. You have to consciously learn to empty your pocket into your head. It pays.
The areas of your life where you need knowledge requires that you go all out to learn what you don't know through books. Daniel said 'I understand by books' (Dan9:2).
Readers are leaders, but an avid learner is a relavant leader for all times. Do not limit learning to the four walls of the class room. As anointed as Apostle Paul was, he was a note-taking reader (2Tim4:13), even though he had deep revelations.
Study along the lines of your purpose so that you'll have a voice. Study so that you won't be stupid.
Father, I receive the grace to be studious In Jesus name.
