I remember a couple who were trusting God for the fruit of the womb years back. They marked their wedding anniversary. A woman I know heard about it, in paraphrase, she said 'why are they happy'? She was referring to their childless state and she insinuated that they had no reason whatsoever to be joyful since there was no child.
Today, God has blessed them with a child and I know more would be added. They did not allow their childlessness to hinder a flow of thanksgiving and gratitude to God. If you check your life, there is something to be thankful for. Satan makes you feel there is nothing to thank him for.
Brethren there is no crime in saying thanking the Lord in whatever situation you may find yourself. Apostle Paul is a good example of what we are saying. He was persecuted for preaching the gospel, shipwrecked severally, was beaten and thrown into jails but he didn't take his sight off what God had done for him.
Humanly, he had every reason not to be thankful but here he said 'in all circumstances', whether good or bad, we should thank God because it is God's will.
Your salvation alone is worth thanking God for all day. Do not look at the unanswered prayers, take your sight off what is not working for you and start giving thanks. There's no crime in saying 'Father i thank you for my life'.
There are miracles that may not come your way until you start thanking God. Thanksgiving is an activator of answer to prayers (Phil4:6).
Stop complaining, start thanking God. Even when it seems things are not working, start thanking God.
