Gal4:10- You are trying to earn favor with God by observing certain days or months or seasons or years.(11) I fear for you.
For some years now, I have seen people attach some importance to special dates like 12-12-2012, 9-9-2009 and other unique dates. A lot of people have attended special programmes on those dates expecting to earn God's favor.
Some may have even sown 12-12-12 seeds but Just like Paul told the Galatian church, I FEAR FOR YOU. If God's favor can be earned by observing special days,hours or months then its no longer favour. If favour is getting something you don't merit, then doing special things to be favoured has become a merit.
Don't be deceived, in the dispensation of grace, God is the God of every day, minute&hour. You will only get the very best of God If you develop a steady walk with Him. If He starts answering prayers on special days, He has denied His word&made Himself a seasonal God.
Father, I receive grace to walk with God daily In Jesus Name.
