GOD WILL ERASE YOUR REPROACH

2kings5:1 *The king of Aram had great admiration for Naaman, the commander of his army, because through him the LORD had given Aram great victories. But though Naaman was a mighty warrior, he suffered from leprosy* ( NLT).

I have a cousin who trusted God for the fruit of the womb for more than twenty years. When I was growing up as a church boy, I knew her to be very devoted and dedicated to kingdom service. She got married in the Lord and I can testify about her life of purity.

Her husband is a pastor. They are committed to God’s work but for years, they didn’t have a child. It became a reproach that weighed on her heavily.

In her testimony, she said on several occasion as a pastor’s wife, she was actively involved in assisting other women in naming ceremonies but she would cry while returning home.

My faithful God answered her and gave her a bouncing baby boy. Her reproach of fruitlessness was erased and she became a joyful mother. For someone reading this devotional, God shall erase your reproach in Jesus name.

Psalm 126:1-2 KJV says,‬*When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, We were like them that dream. [2] Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them*.

Naaman was a great commander in the army but he was a leper. That was the reproach in his life. How can a man be so powerful as a military commander and yet be leprous?
*Often times, the reproach in your life is a contradiction to your calling and anointing. What do I mean? Imagine a preacher who is anointed to help the barren conceive yet his wife is barren or a mighty healing minister with an incurable disease. These are reproaches that makes people raise questions*.

We might not have explanation for these things but I know that If you call on God and ask for his mercy, he will cancel every reproach in your life.

*Today, that thing in your life that has made you cry in secret, God shall turn it around and a testimony shall emerge from it In Jesus name*.
*PRAYER*: My father in heaven, take away this reproach (…mention name) In Jesus name.
