BEYOND BODILY HEALING Pt.1

Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. KJV

EMBRACE THE MINISTRY OF JESUS

Since I was born, I have never seen or heard about suicide like I’ve heard in recent times. I’ve counseled people with suicide ideations.

The very thing I’ve heard and read now stares me in the face. I read about a young lady who jumped from the top most floor of her hostel because she felt betrayed by her boy friend.

No thanks to the current economic crisis in our country. We’ve seen videos of people going naked in the bank because of frustration.

While majority believe it is because of the situation of the economy, some are confused about those who are living far above the poverty line, yet they committed suicide.

Psychologists and mental health doctors have come to the fore to tell us what may be wrong. Virtually all of them agreed with the fact that emotional pain is the major cause.

Psycho-therapists have tried their best to help people out of depression and emotional pain but it has not yielded much result.

The surest solution to emotional pain and hurts can be found only in JESUS CHRIST.

*One of the ministries of Jesus Christ is to give the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness*. Hallelujah!!!

*If you’re hurting emotionally because of rejection, frustration, heart-breaks and series of disappointments, look unto Jesus and embrace his ministry of emotional healing*.

He is a friend and he offers counsel and comfort through his Spirit. This is the time to realize the depth of Christ’s love for you. In fact, this is the first step out of several steps.

Those that know how to bask in God’s love for themselves shall heal quickly. It takes seeing ourselves the way God sees us before we can be healed emotionally.

PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to embrace your ministry of emotional healing and to see myself the way God sees me In Jesus name.
